
Eugene Isack is a seasoned economist with expertise in econometric modeling and a strong proficiency in geographic information systems (GIS) and the integration of large interconnected datasets. With an aptitude in pulling together disparate data sources, Eugene excels in leveraging complex datasets to extract insights on otherwise hidden patterns in public transport economics, and housing markets, among other sectors.
Eugene’s portfolio spans pivotal sectors, including climate adaptation, equity, housing, and public transport. His insights support policymakers, transport authorities, and other public sector agencies in making informed, data-driven decisions that respond to complex economic and social challenges.
Eugene is a Senior Economist at Principal Economics. Before joining, he held economist roles at the New Zealand Institute of Economic Research (NZIER) and Property Economics.
